Deep learning-based methods have attracted considerable attention in glacier extraction due to their superiority over traditional techniques.
This study validates the feasibility and effectiveness of the LandsNet architecture for glacier extraction, and we applied the improved LandsNet (M-LandsNet) to extract glacier outlines in the source region of the Three Rivers.
The band ratio method, U-Net, U-Net++, GlacierNet, etc. were adopted.
