The University of California San Diego Longitudinal Vestibular Schwannoma Dataset (UCSD-VS-Longitudinal)

Vestibular schwannomas are benign tumors that typically present with adult-onset sensorineural hearing loss and require serial MRI surveillance irrespective of management strategy. We present the University of California San Diego Longitudinal Vestibular Schwannoma Dataset (UCSD-VS-Longitudinal), a multimodal MRI dataset containing 191 subjects diagnosed with sporadic VS and a total of 570 MRI timepoints. The primary sequences include T1-pre, T1-post, and T2 images, with some timepoints also including additional sequences such as FLAIR, SWI, ASL, DWI, and ADC. This dataset provides neuroradiologist-approved voxelwise segmentations on T1-post images, classification of longitudinal changes (growing, stable, and shrinking), and accompanying demographic and treatment information, including patient age, sex, race, ethnicity, and treatment status at each MRI. This collection supports further investigation into long-term treatment response and prognosis in vestibular schwannoma.
