资源简介:
Indonesia Social and Economic Survey (Susenas 2010) is a nationwide survey conducted to collect information on social and economics indices. It serves as a main source of monitoring the social and economic progress in the society. Susenas has been conducted on an annual basis since 1963. Since 1992, in addition to a basic social and economic questionnaire (core), an additional questionnaire was introduced which gathers more detailed information on special interest topics (module). Module surveys are intended to gather more detailed information on specific topics, especially on data that changes less frequently than yearly. There are three modules of Susenas and each module is added in a three-year cycle. Nevertheless, for the year 2010 only a core survey was conducted, rather than a module on health and housing. The module survey is not conducted with the consideration that in 2010 the Central Bureau of Statistics has to conduct Population Census (SP 2010) which gathered the same information as the module survey. The 2010 Susenas comprises of 293,715 sampled households covering 1,178,494 individuals in the urban and rural area all provinces in Indonesia. These sampled households were interviewed using core questionnaire which gathered information on household and individual characteristics. The SUSENAS data is collected using a stratified multi-stage cluster sampling with two strata (urban and rural area) for each district/municipality. Within each district/municipality, a 2-stage cluster sampling method is applied to urban areas, while rural areas sampling follows a 3-stage cluster sampling design. Within each district/municipality, a 2-stage cluster sampling method is applied to urban areas, while rural areas sampling follows a 3-stage cluster sampling design. Urban areas are divided into census blocks (CBs), each comprises approximately 100 households. The first stage of the sampling involves choosing a number of CBs using linear systematic sampling. From each selected census block, sixteen households are selected for interview by using linear systematic sampling. For rural areas, a number of sub-districts (Kecamatan) are selected from the list using the “proportional to size” (PPS) principle, so that the probability of each sub-districts being selected is proportional to its size (i.e. number of households). From each selected sub-district, a number of census blocks were selected. Then, from each of these selected CBs sixteen households are selected for interview by using linear systematic sampling. The household survey covered size of household, type of housing and amenities; household income and expenditure; employment status, form of transport used by the household members and telephone and computer usage. Questions on business loans are also asked. The survey for persons covered sex, age, marital status, crime, school participation, health, immunization, literacy and numeracy, telephone or computer usage, daily activities, employment status and contraceptive use. Population weightings are included for both surveys. File 02_Susenas_2010_individual characteristics_01242 contains information on individual characteristics. The data is taken from core questionnaires (Block I. Identification of Place, Block II. Core Characteristics of Householdd, Block IV. Household Members Characteristics, and Block V. Individual Characteristics on Health of Children Under Five, Education, Employment, and Fertility and Family Planning). The data in this core data is representative at national, province level and district/city level, but differentiation by type of region (urban and rural) can only be drawn at national and province level. File 02_Susenas_2010_household characteristics_01242 contains information on household characteristics taken from core questionnaires (Block I. Identification of Place; Block II. Core Household Characteristics; Block VI. Housing Information; Block VII. Household Expenditure; Block VIII. Other Socio-Economic Information; Block IX. Information And Communication Technology). The data in this module data is representative at national, province level and district/city level, but differentiation by type of region (urban and rural) can only be drawn at national and province level. The SUSENAS are only available for ANU staff and students.
