These contigs are part of a whole genome sequencing project of an Anaplasma marginale mutant generated by transposon mutagenesis using the Himar1 transposon system. The main goal of the whole genome sequencing of these organismos was to establish the transposon insertion site. These contigs contain the transposon insertion within the omp10 gene and upstream and downstream sequences of the omp6-AM1225 operon of the A. marginale str Virginia omp10::himar1 mutant.
