Behavioural experiments on ants in response to silk moth larvae

Behavioural experiments were performed on ants inhabiting thorns on Vachellia erioloba trees in Namibia to test their response to a major insect herbivore, the larvae of silk moth Gonometa postica. This dataset records the responses of ants to caterpillars, including their response time & how successful they were at evicting them.
