We investigated a full year cycle of BCC in Poyang Lake at different locations to obtain insight into the spatio-temporal dynamics of BCCs. Furthermore, studying the spatio-temporal changes in the bacterioplankton community would allow us to evaluate their relative importance in structuring BCCs and explore the relationships between differences in BCCs and environmental factors.
