The Phycological Collection from Herbarium of Universidade Estadual de Londrina encompasses about 2,000 periphytic and phytoplankton samples, collected in different counties from States of Paraná, Mato Grosso do Sul, São Paulo and Alagoas, being the most expressive for the counties along the Tibagi River Basin. These samples sum approximately 7.050 records of different species of algae.
