Hydrogeological controls on seasonal groundwater level dynamics across Greece: a national-scale assessment integrating monitoring data, earth observation, and machine learning (2013–2022)

This dataset provides well-level real-time groundwater red-state predictions for Greece for August 2015, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. The predictions were produced using a trained machine-learning classifier designed to estimate the probability that each groundwater monitoring station is in a red state, corresponding to deeper-than-normal groundwater conditions relative to its historical reference. Each Excel file includes the monitoring station code, geographic coordinates, predicted class label, and predicted probability of red-state classification. The dataset supports the reproducibility of the groundwater prediction maps and enables comparison of spatial and temporal patterns of groundwater stress across years.
