RNA sequencing analysis of heart and lung tissues from chickens with ascites syndrome (PRJCA043057)

Ascites syndrome (AS) is a common nutritional and metabolic disorder in broilers. The incidence rate of AS in affected chickens is 5% to 20%, which has brought huge economic losses to the poultry industry. In this study, we conducted the RNA sequencing analysis to screen key pathways and genes associated with the development of ascites syndrome in broiler chickens, and provided valuable insights into its pathogenesis and potential prevention strategies.
