Single-cell RNA sequencing of rat kidney from birth to mature

Prematurity has been identified as a long-term risk factor for chronic kidney disease. Knowledge of the potential pathogenesis is limited. To further elucidate the physiological process of kidney development during the preterm infant stage, single-cell RNA sequencing of rat kidney from just after birth to maturity were performed. This time during in rat just correspond to stages from preterm stage to mature in human. This data will benefit understanding of kidney development in preterm infant stage.
