Restaurant Reviews Dataset (RRD)

The Restaurant Reviews Dataset (RRD) is a theory-guided, manually annotated dataset of Google Maps restaurant reviews labeled as real or deceptive using rule-based cues derived from multiple psychological deception theories. It contains authentic, non-simulated reviews enriched with linguistic, behavioral, and metadata features such as sentiment, generality, punctuation ratios, reviewer activity, and engagement signals. Data augmentation techniques were applied to address class imbalance and ensure a balanced distribution of review categories.
