5GMETA MASA dataset

The Modena Automotive Smart Area (MASA) dataset contains JSON messages with information about road users (vehicles, pedestrians, etc.) detected in Modena, Italy: road user type road user position (latitude and longitude) road user speed road user heading The data come from sensors and cameras onboard 5G connected vehicles driving in an urban area and smart cameras deployed in the urban area. The data were transmitted via 5G network or cabled ethernet network. The data have been anonymized during the collection. This dataset is based on the data collected during the CLASS European project, grant agreement No 780622. This dataset can help transport authorities better understand and manage road traffic, identify risk areas and plan infrastructure maintenance operations.
