Data and code supporting the revised manuscript: An, M., Jo, H., & Kang, Y. Industrial Parks, Dispersed Industry and the Encroachment of Rural Settlement Space: An Industrial Effect-Zone Analysis of 1,232 Townships in South Korea. Land (revised manuscript land-4585472, under review). This is a new version of the record first published for the original submission (v20260909). The revised study replaces the county-level fragmentation and population analysis with a township-level industrial effect-zone analysis of 1,232 townships (eup and myeon) in 121 non-capital counties of South Korea. It measures the exposure of current settlement land (residential land and farmland) within 50–500 m of industrial land cover, the reduction of the largest contiguous settlement patch outside that zone (contiguity reduction), the contributions of industry inside and outside industrial park boundaries, the observed conversion of settlement land to industry in 2000–2007 with a placebo cohort of later-designated parks, and a full-text review of national siting standards and county planning ordinances. The township analysis is in s26a, s29, s29b, s29c and s29d; the ordinance review is in s28, s28b and s28c; scripts s00–s25 cover acquisition, rasterisation, comparability diagnostics and the county-level context.- data_derived/township/: township-level indicators by county, year and settlement definition; conversion 2000–2007; the 1 ha minimum-mapping-unit variant; pooled tables and the summary of all reported statistics.- data_derived/county/: county-level tables used for context and diagnostics.- data_derived/ordinances/: extracted distance clauses, verified factory rules and the retrieved text of each county planning ordinance.- raster_30m/: 30 m rasters of the Level-2 land cover (2000, 2007, 2025) for each county.- logs/: acquisition and processing logs.- figures/: the seven figures of the revised manuscript.- supplementary/: Supplementary Materials (PDF) and Tables S7a, S7b, S8a and S8b (CSV). Raw source data (Ministry of Environment land cover maps, township boundaries, industrial park polygons, factory records) are public but not redistributed; they can be re-acquired with the included scripts.
