Data Sets for Evaluation of the Psychometric Properties of the Stanford Multifaceted Dissociation Questionnaire (SMDQ)

Data files relate to an investigation of the psychometric properties of the Stanford Multifaceted Dissociation Questionnaire (SMDQ) . All data sets except sdq_2 contain information regarding the age, gender, mental health diagnosis, ethnicity, and educational status of participants. Data set 1 (sdq_1) contains responses from people with lived experience regarding the comprehensibility and relevance of the 35 items of the initial SMDQ item pool. Data set 2 (sdq_2) contains responses from content experts regarding the relevance of the 35 items of the initial SMDQ item pool. Data set 3 (sdq_3) contains responses to the trait and state versions of the 35 items of the initial SMDQ item pool. In addition, data set 3 contains responses to the 28-item Dissociative Experience Scale (DES-II) and the 12-item Multidimensional Mood Questionnaire (MDMQ). Data set 3 (sdq_3) contains responses to the trait and state versions of the SDQ. In addition, data set 3 contains responses to the 28-item Dissociative Experience Scale (DES-II), the 12-item Multidimensional Mood Questionnaire (MDMQ), the 9-item Multifactorial Memory Questionnaire (MMQ), the 3-item World Health Organization adult ADHD self-report scale (ASRS), the 4-item Patient Health Questionnaire-4 (PHQ-4), the 8-item Somatic Symptom Scale-8 (SSS-8), the 9-item Specific Psychotic Experiences Questionnaire (SPEQ), the 5-items Posttraumatic Diagnostic Scale for DSM-5 (PDS-5), the 5-item Rosenberg Self-Esteen Scale (RSES), the 5-item Level of Personality Functioning Scale (LPFS), the 20-item International Personality Item Pool (IPIP), the 5-item Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS), and the 4-item Social Desirability Scale (SDS). The SDQ and the MDMQ were administered again after one week in a subset of participants.
