We investigated the expression of MTS1338, a small non-coding RNA of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in bacterial cultures, and demonstrated its significant contribution to host-pathogen interactions. Overall design: Trancriprtome profiles of control (pMV) and overexpressing MTS1338 (MTS1338_over) strains of M.tubercuilosis in stationary phase were generated by deep sequencing, in triplicate, using Illumina NovaSeq6000 This study describes transcriptome changes in M. tuberculosis strains with overexpression of MTS1388 small RNA (stationary phase of growth).
