Salt marshes and geomorphology of Jiuduansha

In this study, we used 1449 satellite images over the course of 39 years (1984-2023) via the Google Earth Engine for unraveling how the growth of different salt marshes types influences changes on Jiuduansha Island, the largest uninhabited island in the Yangtze Estuary. Here we investigated the long-term series of salt marsh growth and geomorphological change of Jiuduansha.
