Parallel Multidimensional Chromatic Lexicons for Corpus-Assisted Analysis of Russian and English Texts

## Corrections and review -- Russian lexicon Prior to this deposit, all 224 entries were independently reviewed for internal consistency (e.g. Descriptor entries should not carry a hue; Colour entries should not be missing an expected hue, saturation, or temperature) and cross-checked against the parallel English lexicon (S2) where equivalent terms exist. This review resulted in a documented set of corrections — entry, field changed, original value, corrected value, and rationale — recorded in the **Corrections Log** sheet of the accompanying `.xlsx` file. A small number of additional cross-linguistic inconsistencies between the Russian and English lexicons were identified, discussed, and deliberately resolved (rather than left as open flags) prior to this version; these are also recorded in the Corrections Log. ## Changes since Version 1.0 - **Entry count increased from 222 to 224.** Two entries — золото (gold) and серебро (silver) — were added after Version 1.0 was published.- A documented review and correction pass was carried out on the full 224-entry lexicon (see the **Corrections Log** sheet in the accompanying `.xlsx` file), covering hue/type/temperature/saturation errors, omissions, and cross-linguistic alignment issues identified relative to the English lexicon (S2). ## Corrections and review -- English lexicon Prior to this deposit, the original 141 entries were independently reviewed for internal consistency (e.g. Descriptor entries should not carry a hue; Colour entries should not be missing an expected hue, saturation, or temperature) and cross-checked against the parallel Russian lexicon (S1) where equivalent terms exist. This review resulted in 5 corrections, fully documented — entry, field changed, original value, corrected value, and rationale — in the **Corrections Log** sheet of the accompanying `.xlsx` file. Two entries (sand, sandy) were subsequently added, bringing the total to 143; see *Changes since Version 1.0* below. A small number of additional cross-linguistic inconsistencies between the English and Russian lexicons were identified, discussed, and deliberately resolved (rather than left as open flags) prior to this version; these are also recorded in the Corrections Log. ## Changes since Version 1.0 - **Entry count increased from 141 to 143.** Two entries — sand and sandy (Hue: brown; Saturation: medium; Temperature: warm) — were added to align with the Russian entry песочный/песочно-, which already existed in S1.- A documented review and correction pass was carried out on the lexicon (see the **Corrections Log** sheet in the accompanying `.xlsx` file), covering hue/type/temperature errors, omissions, and cross-linguistic alignment issues identified relative to the Russian lexicon (S1).
