The Ayu21-18 mouse line (B6;CBA-Bnc2Gt(pU21)18Imeg/Orl; Infrafrontier EM-05043) was used to generate mice with heterozygous inactivation of Bnc2,which were compared to their wild-type (WT) littermates. Mice were fed a pro-fibrogenic NASH diet for 7.5 weeks and livers were used used to prepare RNA. Adult male mice were fed with a CDAA-HFSC diet consisting of ad libitum feeding with a choline-deficient, L-amino acid-defined (CDAA) diet supplemented with 35% sucrose, 21% fat and 2% cholesterol. Control mice were fed with a chow diet containing 12% sucrose and 7% fat (Ssniff, custom diets). Livers were used to prepare RNA which was then processed for analysis using MoGene-2_0-st Affymetrix microarrays according to standard procedures.
