Dataset and code for "Tropical Cyclones in CAM7: Assessing the Impact of Prognostic Momentum Fluxes and Convective Parameterization at Global and Storm Scales"

What's included in this repository: code.tar.gz. This file is separated into three subdirectories for the idealized, variable-resolution, and fully quarter-degree experiments. These subdirectories contain configuration files and, where necessary, code bases to reproduce the experiments performed for this study. Since the code bases used for the idealized aquaplanet and variable-resolution experiments were customized to some extent, those full code bases are provided. datasets.tar.gz. This file contains all the datasets and model output necessary to reproduce the figures in the paper. Raw output from the experiments was too large to include, but almost all figures were based on post-processed output, and that is what is included here. python_figure_scripts.tar.gz. This folder contains the python scripts to reproduce each figure in the paper. If the python_figure_scripts folder is placed in a directory alongside the "datasets" folder, then all the python scripts should work out of the box, assuming your python environment includes the necessary packages, all of which should be freely and easily available (numpy, matplotlib, cartopy, etc.).
