School was surrounded by water too deep for pedestrian school kids. 16: Flood at Piuma Avenue and Alondra Boulevard, Norwalk area. They were flooded out last January too. 93: Red Cross worker Fred Meyers carrying Mrs. Rose Zimmerman from her home at 11648 207th Street, Artesia. Floors of several rooms are under 4 inches of water. This is second flood-out for her family this year. 92: Fred Meyers carrying Harriet Zimmerman, 7, and John R. Bowermaster (at right) carrying Billy Zimmerman, 10. Family was evacuated 11 a.m. from flooded home. Men are Red Cross workers, Artesia".
