VPRS 15524 Regional Office Newsletters

This series consists of newsletters and bulletins produced by regional offices of the Education Department and successors. These newsletters were produced primarily for an audience within the region being mainly teachers, school principals, Department staff, parents and school council members.Most of the series consists of newsletters which were bound into annual or chronologically arranged volumes by the Ministry of Education Library. (Binding orders are found within a number of the volumes indicating that the newsletters had previously been maintained either separately or bound within lever arch folders.) Some units consist of loose newsletters which were found in magazine boxes and it was assumed these were intended to be bound. Some of these particular units include newsletters produced by schools from within the particular region and these have been retained.
