The purpose of this study is to profile miRNA expression in serum from patients with OSCC (n=25) and healthy controls (n=15). Overall design: Total RNA was isolated using TRlzolTM LS Reagent (Invitrogen life technologies) from 40 individuals’ serum. RNA samples were analyzed by Exiqon A/S using miRCURYTM Hy3TM/Hy5TM power labeling kit and the miRCURYTM Array. Hybridization signals were scanned and analyzed by Genepix 4000B microarray scanner (Axon Instruments, Foster city, CA).
