Clinical Efficacy of Vaginal Preconditioning in Postmenopausal Women for Evaluating Lesion Accuracy Before and After Minimally Invasive Cervicovaginal Surgery

Study Overview Study type: Single-center prospective controlled clinical trial Recruitment period: July 2024–June 2026 Population: Postmenopausal women aged 53–78 years, menopause duration ≥3 years, with cervical/vaginal intraepithelial neoplasia requiring minimally invasive cervicovaginal surgery (LEEP, cervical laser ablation, vaginal laser ablation) Initial planned enrollment: 900 cases; 180 cases excluded/lost to follow-up due to non-standard medication or loss of visit; final valid sample: 720 patients Grouping: 9 independent groups stratified by medication type, medication duration, surgical site Interventions: Preoperative vaginal local conditioning (promestriene cream / compound sea-buckthorn oil suppository, 1-week / 2-week regimen); all intervention groups received alternate-day vaginal medication for 1 month postoperatively to observe wound repair Core evaluation indicators: Preoperative colposcopy adequacy rate, satisfactory acetic acid test rate, satisfactory iodine staining test rate, preoperative lesion assessment accuracy, 1-month postoperative lesion residual rate, postoperative mucosal wound repair grading; correlation analysis of age, years since menopause, parity with clinical indicators
