Records of collected tick in Japan from 1911 to 2021

We created a dataset based on sampling records of tick species in Japan published from 1911 to 2021. The dataset includes tick species, sampling year, a locality at the prefecture level and an island, tick developmental stage (larva, nymph, or adult), and sampling method (flagging from vegetation or direct sampling from host animal). The contents of three files are as below. TIckLiteratureDB.csv: The literature information that contain records of ticks. TickCollectDB.csv: The data about collected ticks (e.g., tick species name, sampling locations, and sampling year). TickSpeciesList.csv: The all tick species that are recorded in TickCollectDB.csv
