Welcome to the Comparative Conspiracy Research Survey (CCRS) dataset. This dataset presents individual-level cross-sectional data on conspiracy beliefs in eight countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Lebanon, Morocco, South Africa, and the United States. The dataset includes a wide range of variables including psychological attitudinal scales, political orientations, and sociodemographic information. The questionnaire includes, among other variables, validated scales of social trust, populist attitudes, authoritarianism, self-esteem as well as items measuring political interest, ideology, and socioeconomic class.
