Yinhua Gouteng Decoction Alleviates Tic Disorders Symptoms by Modulating Neuro-inflammation in a Rat Model

This study investigates the therapeutic mechanisms of Yinhua Gouteng Decoction (YHGTD), a traditional Chinese medicine formulation, in alleviating tic disorders (TD) through modulation of the gut-brain axis and neuroinflammation. We performed 16S rRNA sequencing of fecal samples from IDPN-induced TD rats treated with YHGTD, generating raw fastq files and analyzed microbiota profiles. These data reveal how YHGTD restores gut microbial balance and correlates with improved striatal neuropathology, providing a resource for understanding microbiota-targeted TD therapies.
