Target-specific requirements for RNA interference can be explained by a single regulatory network

Whole genome sequencing of five mutants each with a mutation in the RNAi regulator MUT-16. We mutagenized a strain with stable RNA silencing in the germline initiated by mating (Devanapally et al., 2021) and isolated viable mutants that showed re-expression. One of the five mutants also contains a mutation in the RNAi regulator RDE-10.
