Archival Texts of the Middle Assyrian Period (ATMAP/TCMA), version 1.0
收藏资源简介:
This dataset provides a versioned release of the Archival Texts of the Middle Assyrian Period (ATMAP/TCMA), an open digital corpus of Middle Assyrian documentary texts developed within the Open Richly Annotated Cuneiform Corpus (Oracc). ATMAP brings together texts from Aššur and numerous provincial and external findspots that are otherwise dispersed across more than a century of text editions, excavation reports, journal articles, and museum publications. The corpus includes transliterations, linguistic annotation and lemmatization, English translations for a substantial proportion of the material, and structured metadata concerning provenance, archival context, chronology, text type, museum and excavation numbers, and publication history. Version 1.0 contains 2,278 catalogue records, of which 2,228 are classified linguistically as Middle Assyrian. The corpus contains 2,280 ATF transliterations, 2,267 lemmatized texts, and 1,877 English translations. Archival assignments are available for 2,025 records. The dataset is intended to support philological, linguistic, archival, historical, prosopographical, and computational research on Middle Assyrian sources. It represents a frozen version of the continuously updated ATMAP/TCMA corpus available through Oracc at http://oracc.org/tcma/.
