The mechanism of beta-lactam resistance of Bacillus cereus group. Bacillus cereus

Bacillus cereus group has multiple chromosomal beta-lactamases and is often resistant to beta-lactam antibiotics, but the mechanism of resistance is unknown. The goal of this project is to identify the genes responsible for beta-lactam drug resistance and to elucidate their regulatory mechanisms.
