All human beings are developed from fertilized eggs that about 100 μm in diameter. What happens during this process? Which regulators control the development process? In our laboratory, we are working on mechanisms how eggs develop into a well organized adult body using both experimental and bioinformatics approaches. Two kinds of regulators we focused on are maternal factors and transcription factor.
