Metagenomics and Metatranscriptomics of microbial community in Tarim solis

Microbial communities are considered to play the most important ecological roles in arid desert ecosystems; however, the diversity and their ecological functions of microbial communities in the soils of Tarim basin, most of which is covered by the world second largest shifting sand desert - the Taklimakan Desert, are less understood. In this study, we provided the metagenomic and metatranscriptomic analysis of the microbial communities from the oasis soils of Tarim basin.Â
