资源简介:
A Gram-positive staining, aerobic bacterium (TB-66T) was isolated from a pile of bat faeces in a cave of New Mexico, U.S.A. On the basis of 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity comparisons, strain TB-66T was grouped together with Filibacter limicola showing a 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity of 98.5% to the type strain. The quinone system of strain TB-66T consists of menaquinone MK-7, predominantly. The polar lipid profile exhibited the major lipids diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylglycerol and phosphatidylethanolamine and moderate to minor amounts of several unidentified phospholipids, glycolipids, phosphoglycolipids, an aminophospholipid and an aminolipid. The diagnostic diamino acid of the peptidoglycan was meso-diaminopimelic acid and the polyamine pattern contained predominantly spermidine and spermine. The major fatty acids, which were C15:0 anteiso, C16:0, and C16:1 ?7c. On the basis of additional clear phenotypic of strain TB-66T to the type strain of F. limicola DSM 13886T, we propose a novel species of the genus Filibacter.
