In 2012 and 2013, CSU Monterey Bay conducted remotely operated vehicle (ROV) surveys at a military de facto marine protected area (DFMPA) and an adjacent fished reference site at San Clemente Island, the southernmost of California's Channel Islands. This dataset contains the master database where raw ecological data extracted from ROV imagery is stored, as well as several derived datasets including habitat patch data for each ROV transect, density and biomass data for key focal species, and community-level data (species richness and diversity). R code is also included in .R and .rtf formats for reproducibility.
