Effect of FGF2 on gene expression of rat cardiac fibroblasts

Fibroblast growth factor 2 (FGF2) can promote cell survival and angiogenesis, and it was found FGF2 could inhibit the activation of cardiac fibroblasts (CFs), suggesting FGF2 has great potential in myocardial repair. But, the regulatory effects of FGF2 on CFs have not been fully uncovered. In this study, we analyzed mRNA expression in CFs and the differently expressed genes regulated by FGF2.
