Salmonella enterica Serovar Enteritidis PT30 Raw sequence reads. Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica

In 2000 to 2001 and 2005 to 2006, outbreaks involving Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Enteritidis PT30 were linked with the consumption of raw almonds and raw tomatoes. During the outbreaks, S. Enteritidis PT30 was isolated from clinical samples in the United States, Canada, and Sweden. The raw almonds and tomatoes were traced back to specific almond orchards and a specific tomato grower in California. During the traceback analysis and a 5-year sampling of the almond orchards, S. Enteritidis PT30 was isolated from almond hulling equipment, orchard soil and orchard almonds. Here are the sequence reads for 73 S. Enteritidis PT30 strains collected from 2001-2006.
