The criterion for defining these solar proton events is that the flux of >10 MeV high-energy protons exceeds 10 pfu for a continuous 15 minutes. The dataset provides information including the onset time of each event, the peak flux time, the peak flux value, as well as details of the associated coronal mass ejections (CMEs), solar flares, and active regions. The temporal coverage of this dataset spans from 1976 to the present. This dataset can assist in the selection of solar proton event case studies and research related to space environment forecasting.
