Erysipelatoclostridium ramosum CHUV1985, an anaerobic Firmicutes with a low Gram-positive affinity staining and low GC content, was isolated from a bone biopsy of a patient presenting a pseudoarthrosis and allograft resorption. The genome was sequenced using Illumina MiSeq to obtain 150 bp paired-end reads. Genomic analyses were used to confirm the taxonomic affiliation of this organism rarely identified in a clinical context of bone infection.
