Balancing Scientific Progress, Ethical Integrity, and Informed Consent in Psychiatric Drug Clinical Trials: A Systematic Review

Methodology: A thorough search of all pertinent electronic databases such as PubMed, PsycINFO, EMBASE, and Web of Science was conducted using keywords and Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) terms. The search terms used in the literature review. Our initial search identified a large number of articles (7,168). After applying our inclusion and exclusion criteria, most of the studies were removed, and the remaining 573 studies were included in the review.
