Genetic map of Capsella bursa-pastoris F2 Msk x Cbp_ME (DNA-seq). Capsella bursa-pastoris

Capsella bursa-pastoris is a cosmopolitan allopolyploid plant and a close relative to Arabidopsis thaliana. In order to obtain high-quality genome assembly we performed an assembly check using the data on segregation of markers in F2 populations derived from the cross of two polymorphic accessions - wt3.4-msk and Cbp_ME. Overall design: plants of wt3.4-msk and Cbp_ME accessions were crossed and leaves of F2 plants were collected (32 plants in total) and subjected to Illumina DNA sequencing.
