On 26 May 1996, 2 June 1996 and 16 June 1996, voting took place for the elections of the People’s Assembly of the Republic of Albania. At the conclusion, of these elections and based on the results of the first and second round elections in 98 electoral zones, as well as the results of the elections in 17 electoral zones where the first round of voting was repeated due to serious irregularities in voting procedures and announcement of voting results,. The data contained in this database is an invaluable resource for researchers studying the political history of Albania and the development of its democratic process.
