WMS LGRB-BW groundwater cover protection function in Baden-Württemberg (GEOLA)

For the state of Baden-Württemberg, comprehensive digital data sets for the protection function of groundwater cover have been created. The topic describes the protection of groundwater from entries from the earth’s surface. A modified procedure of the State Geological Services (SGD) was used for the assessment (Hölting et al., 1995, LGRB 2020). The procedure for deriving the protection function of groundwater cover is described in detail in the Technical Report 2020/1 (LGRB 2020). The spatial data BW — Hydrogeology, protection function of groundwater cover (HK-BW_SF) are part of the “Integrated Geosciences Survey” (GEOLA) of the State Office for Geology, Raw Materials and Mining (LGRB).
