Microbial Characteristics of Different Particle Sizes During Pyrite-based mixotrophic denitrification Treatment of actual secondary effluent

This study utilized the effluent from the secondary sedimentation tank of a large-scale wastewater treatment plant as the experimental subject. Advanced treatment was conducted through the establishment of mixotrophic denitrification systems employing pyrite particles of varying particle sizes. 16S rRNA sequencing was employed to characterize the microbial profiles associated with different pyrite particle sizes before and after the treatment.
