Dyadobacter fermentans DSM 18053. Dyadobacter fermentans DSM 18053 (ATCC 700827) was isolated from surface sterilized stems of Zea mays, however, tests to determine whether this organism grows as an endophyte were inconclusive. This is the type strain and will be used for comparative analysis.
