Nordic ST630 (spa-type t4549 and t377) S. aureus from clinical surveillance

For this study, all first reported isolates per patient with spa type t4549 from 2012 until December 31, 2019 from the Danish National Staphylococcus Database (n=205, including n=2 Faroese isolates) were sequenced. Furthermore, sequences from isolates of spa type t4549 collected until ultimo June 2019 at National Reference Laboratories in the other Nordic countries (Finland; n=20, Norway; n=21, Iceland; n=6, Sweden; n=17) as well as Danish t377 isolates were included (n=36) to establish the phylogenetic context of the lineage.
