We demonstrate robust exciton–polariton formation in planar metallic optical cavities using porphyrin-based MOF nanoparticles. The designed structure enables strong light–matter coupling (Rabi splitting up to 440 meV) through precise thickness control and alignment of excitonic dipoles with the cavity field. The system also shows reversible tuning of the polariton splitting with vapor pressure changes, due to adsorption in the MOF pores and the solvatochromic nature of the porphyrin ligands.
