Collection of 21 original XBT data files in text format, compressed by this command on a linux 64 system:
tar -czvf XBT_text_SAMOWA_01_to_21.tgz samowa*.edf
Uncompress it with:
tar xvf XBT_text_SAMOWA_01_to_21.tgz
These are human-readable text files. There is a standard XBT header and a table with depth in m, temperature in-situ in Celsius and estimated sound velocity in m/s.
