In 2016-2017 we conducted a field study at LeConte Glacier, Alaska, to study the impacts of subglacial discharge on plume dynamics and submarine melting. As part of that study, two GPS receivers were deployed on the glacier to track glacier motion and a third GPS receiver was deployed on bedrock to serve as a base station.
