Underway (U)CTD data were collected during the PS123 expedition across the Atlantic Ocean aboard RV Polarstern. The UCTD was operated once per day to create sound velocity profiles for multibeam measurement calibration. Ship's speed was reduced to around 5 knots and depths up to 890 m were reached with the UCTD probe.
