We sampled Pinot noir clone 667 clusters from 15 vineyards in California and Oregon for the 2016 and 2017 vintages. Pre-pitch grape must was analyzed after three days of cold soaking. To describe the microbial communities, we conducted 16S rRNA gene and ITS-1 amplicon sequencing.
