Gang-gang cockatoo survey

The Gang-gang Cockatoo survey is an event for the Canberra Ornithologists Group's 50th anniversary. This information will greatly improve our knowledge on the abundance, distribution and movements of the Gang-gang. It will also allow us to collect information on breeding success and food preferences and will improve Gang-gang management within the Canberra region.

红冠凤头鹦鹉（Gang-gang Cockatoo）调查是堪培拉鸟类学家小组（Canberra Ornithologists Group）为纪念其成立50周年而举办的专项活动。本次调查所获数据将极大深化我们对红冠凤头鹦鹉种群丰度、分布范围与活动动态的认知。此外，我们还可通过该调查收集其繁殖成功率与食物偏好的相关信息，进而优化堪培拉区域内红冠凤头鹦鹉的保护管理工作。
